Nasca Lines and Short Inca
Trail hike to Machu Picchu
( 8 days and 7 nights )
Price per person US$1260 based on double occupancy including tourist
class accommodation!
An interesting trip that combines a visit to the Nasca Lines,
which represent some sort of vast astronomical pre-Inca calendar, followed by a
visit to Machu Picchu , the Sacred Valley of the Incas and Cusco as well as the
ancient capital of the Inca Empire.
DAILY DEPARTURES from Lima

DAY 1 LIMA
Reception in the Lima airport and transfer to the Hotel.(No meals)
Day 2 : LIMA CITY TOUR AND GOLD MUSEUM
In the morning, Lima city tour (half day). You will be picked up from
your hotel at 09 a.m. The city tour begins with a visit to the
Plaza the Armas, which has been declared a World Heritage Site by
UNESCO. Running along two sides are arcades with shops: Portal de
Escribanos and
Portal de Botoneros.
In the center of the Plaza is a bronze fountain dating back to 1560.
Located in the Plaza is the Cathedral, note the splendidly carved
stalls, the silver covered
altars surrounded by fine woodwork, mosaic covered walls bearing the
coat of arms of Lima and Pizarro. Next to the Cathedral is the
Archbishop's Palace.
Then you'll visit the Monastery of San Francisco. This is famous for the
Sivillian tilework and paneled ceiling in the cloisters, the catacombs
under the church and
part of the monastery are well worth seeing, You'll visit the old
colonial streets in the center of the city, and the modern Lima with the
district of
San Isidro and Miraflores. Then you will visit the Peruvian Gold Museum;
this excellent private collection includes pre-Columbian gold, silver
and bronze, ceramics, weavings, mummies, etc. The second floor of this
museum is a remarkable arms collections with an impressive exhibition
from Spanish colonial times.
Overnight at the hotel (B,L)
Day 3 : NASCA LINES
You will be picked up from your Hotel in Lima at 6:00 am, we will
provide a driver and a minivan, the ride will take around 6 hours each
way. On the way we will visit
the Museum of the site, the Maria Reiche tomb. Then, we will stop at the
over view of Nazca. Cut into the stony desert are large number of lines,
not only parallels and
geometrical figures, but also designs such as a dog, an enormous monkey,
a bird with a wing span of over 100 meters, a spider and a tree. These
lines, that represent
some sort of vast astronomical pre-Inca calendar, are best seen from the
air. We will take a half hour flight above the Lines (airfare not
included). After the flight, we
will take some time to rest and we will have lunch before returning to
Lima.
Upon arrival, we will transfer to the Hotel . (B;L)
Day 4 : CUSCO
After an early breakfast, transfer to the airport where we will take the
flight to Cusco, (airfare not included)
upon arrival Reception at the Cusco airport ; you will be taken to the
Orquidea Real Hostal.
In the afternoon: Cusco City Tour From 1:15 p.m. Aprox
This tour includes the Qoricancha (Temple of the Sun) and the Cathedral
and some other famous places like the famous fortress of Sacsayhuaman,
then to Q'enqo, Puca Pucara and Tambomachay.
You will also receive a tourist ticket valid to many other sites you can
visit on your free time.
Overnight at the Hotel.
Day 5: SACRED VALLEY TOUR
(Available on shared service on :TUESDAY, THURSDAY AND SUNDAY ONLY!)
At 8:15 a.m. we will depart for the Sacred Valley tour, that includes:
Bus service to the market of Pisaq, visits the ruins of Ollantaytambo,
and the market at Chinchero.
There is an English speaking guide, and lunch in a typical restaurant in
Urubamba.
Of course, throughout this trip you will have magnificent views of the
high Peruvian Andes.
At the end you will go back at the Hotel. ( B,L )
Inka Trail 2 Days

KIDS under 12 years old or students -Discount $15.-usd per person.
Note: In order to get the discount it is necessary to send us via email
the scanned copy of your ISC (International Student Card) within two
days. Without this
copy we will not be able to offer you the discount.
The group is formed up to 16 people .
Day 6 MACHUPICCHU
You will be picked up from your hotel around 6 am. Transfer from the
hotel to the train station where you will take the train to Km 104,
arriving at
approx. 10:30, from there we will start the hike. After about 3 hours we
will arrive at Wiñaywayna (2700m), walking 8 km, box lunch is provided
on
route. At Wiñaywayna we’ll explore the extensive Inca ruins, undoubtedly
the most spectacular ruins of the whole Inka Trail. In the afternoon we
go
back on the trek, we'll arrive at the Inti Punku (the Sun Gate) with
beautiful views of Machu Picchu and then to Aguas Calientes where we
will
overnight at the hotel(or similar) (B,Box lunch)
Day 7 MACHUPICCHU - CUSCO
After breakfast we will arrive at Machu Picchu ruins (2400m). Guided
tour of the ruins for approximately 2 hours followed by some time at
leisure, lunch
provided. In the afternoon we will take the backpacker train to Cusco.
Overnight at the hotel.(B,L)

IMPORTANT NOTE OF INCA TRAIL

*Reservations need to be done two months prior to arrive to Cusco.
Nevertheless take note there is a limit of visitors per day so I suggest
you to book the trip as soon as possible to guarantee your spots.
*Remember to take your passport and your isic card on the inca trail
because without they you are not going to be able to do the hiking and
take only the necessary items for the trek, the rest of your luggages
you can leave it at your hotel in Cusco (most of hotels and hostals has
an storage where to keep until your return)
* Participants need to be in good physical health and condition to be
able to enjoy the Inka Trail. The trekking will be difficult if you have
not exercised regularly before your trip. To fully enjoy an Inka Trail
adventure, we advise passengers to get into an exercise program for
their own safety and enjoyment. If a passenger suffers from any medical
condition, we advise him/her to consult a physician about joining an
Inka Trail Expedition.
Day 8 TRANSFER TO LIMA
Transfer to the airport where we'll take the morning flight back to Lima
(airfare not included) in time to get your international flight
connection (B)
